Bassline

Humanise pushes hits off the grid by up to ±14 ms and varies velocity per hit — it is what stops the break sounding programmed. Swing is applied to 16ths only, so the kick and snare stay locked.

Checking for a server key…

Where your key lives

Recommended: add DEEPSEEK_API_KEY as an encrypted environment variable in your Cloudflare Pages project (Settings → Environment variables → add as a Secret), and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY as well if you want to use Opus. They stay on Cloudflare's servers, never reach the browser, and nobody visiting the site can read them.

Fallback: paste a key below. It is stored only in this browser on this device and is sent only to the provider it belongs to. It is never written into the page source. Anyone with physical access to this device could retrieve it, so prefer the server route for a public URL.

WAV is 16-bit stereo at your device's sample rate. MP3 is LAME V0 variable bitrate, and fetches the encoder from the network the first time you use it. MIDI writes five named tracks — drums on channel 10, plus sub, rhodes, pad and keys — with swing and humanised timing baked into the note positions, so it reads in your DAW the way it sounds here. Stems come out as separate WAVs at identical length, so they line up at bar 1.
